Rosie Palmer Recipe

Rosie Palmer iced tea

She's sweet and refreshing like Arnold, but with a bit more taste. Meet Rosie Palmer, our flying-out-the-door Firepot Tea Bar spring special. Made with a with rose petal simple syrup and our fresh 2019 Darjeeling first flush tea, she's the best iced tea in town!

Rosie Palmer iced tea from above

Rosie Palmer: Start by steeping Darjeeling tea in 6 oz of 195° water for 2 minutes. Strain the tea into a mason jar or cup. Next, add lemon juice and rose simple syrup to the mason jar and stir until combined. Pour over ice and enjoy cold!

For rose simple syrup: simply combine 1 cup of water with 1 cup of sugar (we use raw cane sugar) in a sauce pan and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Then cool and funnel into a jar and add 1 tsp of rose water to the mix!  Keeps well refrigerated for 1-2 weeks.
